Amazone Spreaders

Balanced crop nutrition is an important part of modern crop production.

Prior to any specific fertilisation measures, optimise the local conditions in view of a complete nutrient utilisation by the crop. Amazone offer their customers mounted and trailed spreaders of various capacities with working widths from 10 to 52m and hopper volumes from 500 to 8,200 litres.

The Soft Ballistic System SBS integrated in all Amazone ZA-M spreaders ensures particularly gentle handling of the mineral fertiliser. On its way from the spiral agitator via the outlet the fertiliser falls directly into the centre of the spreading disc.

Low disc speeds and long spreading vanes then permit gentle and even acceleration of the fertiliser to the optimum ejection speed. This results in precisely defined trajectories and thus in optimum spread patterns. Speed-related spread rate control on the fertiliser spreader is recommended particularly when used behind tractors with power shift gear boxes to make use of the full capacity. These elements are operated either via the AMADOS on-board computer or – if the “Tronic” package is used – via the AMATRON.

Longitudinal distribution can be further optimised by means of weighing systems. On the ZA-M Profis and ZA-M Ultra Profis spreaders Amazone have integrated a weighing cell and tilt sensor in a parallelogram mounting frame.
