Kverneland Ploughs

Superb strength to weight ratios. Strongly built for efficient low cost ploughing in medium to heavy soil conditions. They are constructed around a heavy duty, especially heat treated frame of 100x200 mm box section steel. For working in particularly arduous conditions, a heavy-duty ‘LD HD’ version is available, with 120x200mm main frame, heavier duty front end and 300 series headstock.
The Kverneland ED is equipped with the unique Kverneland Auto-Reset System, whereas the LD has replaceable shearbolt protection. A special version of the LD is available with the Vibromat System. This is a tough range of reversible ploughs offering outstanding all round performance.

Maximise ploughing output. Furrow width can be increased from 30 to 45cm (12” to 18”) by repositioning a bolt in the frame of each leg assembly. This can save both time and money by increasing output and potentially reducing overall fuel consumption. Reduced stress for longer life. Larger ploughs tend to impose high forces on the tractor transmission and rear linkage, especially during turnover. To avoid this on its 4-6 furrow models, Kverneland has incorporated a frame alignment cylinder which automatically narrows the plough prior to turnover.
